iPME delivered the design and project management of a new air source heat pump (ASHP) system at Stirling Council’s Lower Polmaise Depot, replacing the outdated biomass boiler to support the Council’s decarbonisation and Net Zero objectives.
As Lead Designer, Project Manager, and Contract Administrator, iPME managed RIBA Stages 4–6, covering detailed M&E design, statutory approvals, tender coordination, and on-site delivery through to commissioning and handover.
The new ASHP installation enhances the depot’s energy efficiency, cuts carbon emissions, and provides a low-maintenance, future-proofed heating solution aligned with Stirling Council’s sustainability strategy.
We’ve been working closely with iPME on a number of projects and the level of service that we receive is second to none. Not only do they go above and beyond for us, we feel that we’re in safe hands at all times.
Working with David and iPME on the Dewars Fitness Development project has been an exceptional experience. Their expertise and professionalism in managing the project were truly commendable.
