iPME led the full lifecycle delivery of a major LED lighting upgrade within the University of Stirling’s iconic Category A-listed Pathfoot Building. The project replaced over 1,700 fluorescent fittings with high-efficiency LED luminaires featuring occupancy and daylight controls.
The scheme delivers annual energy savings of more than 120,000 kWh and a CO₂e reduction of around 23 tonnes, while enhancing lighting quality and reducing maintenance.
Acting as Lead Designer, Project Manager, and Contract Administrator, iPME managed every stage – from feasibility and detailed design to tender and site delivery. A phased installation plan minimised disruption to teaching and research activities, supporting the University’s wider Net Zero and energy efficiency goals.
We’ve been working closely with iPME on a number of projects and the level of service that we receive is second to none. Not only do they go above and beyond for us, we feel that we’re in safe hands at all times.
Working with David and iPME on the Dewars Fitness Development project has been an exceptional experience. Their expertise and professionalism in managing the project were truly commendable.
